That doesn't mean to say that your happiness depends on others, but that unconditional love is something to be valued above anything else, especially money. Perhaps one of the reasons why richer people become depressed is the fact that they have neglected more worthwhile parts of their lives in order to gain more wealth - such as becoming detached from their families, from what they really enjoy and from the simpler things in life. The people you love make you happy, as well as making you sad - which shouldn’t always be seen as a negative thing. That doesn’t mean to say that your happiness depends on others, but that unconditional love is something to be valued above anything else, especially money.
